Scandinavian Bedrooms.

I am a fan of scandinavian Design, style and taste. They are similar to the japanese very minimalistic and I love it. They manage to decorate their houses and apartments very light, bright simple but still cosy. I guess their main or basic colour is white which they combine with one or many different bright colours. Here are some examples of beautiful scandinavian bedrooms.

DESIGNER LIGHTING.

I am really not a fan of shopping lamps. I find it too difficult, boring and annoying to look for lamps that I like. Now I know why, I have to spend lots of money and go to the right lighting shops to find easily cool, modern and stylish lamps and get exciting about the purchase. Have a look at these examples I found surfing around! Let there be light!

THYPOGRAPHY

I love typography and found these rugs surfing around in the net. They look pretty cool but yes, you might have to keep the surroundings very clear and maybe white to make them look that super cool. I still love them though… From LinusDean.

BALCONIES

It’s Summer! Even if we (in England or northern Europe) are not really having one, it’s time to be outside. Spend your free time outdoors. If you have a Balcony her are some ideas of what you could do to make it look really nice. You can style it cosy with big chairs and lots of colourful cushions or really stylish by using just 2 or 3 colours in everything, for example planting just white flowers etc. Have a look!

TYPOGRAPHY

I found this great piece of art surfing around on designmodo.com. There are a few typographic portraits and this one is one of my favourites. Maybe because I like the character (the Joker) and most of all the actor.

This Photograph is called “confusing Fashion” by Nancy Lan an australian Graphic Designer and Photographer. I love the look and optic confusion.

Swedish Style.

I found these pictures surfing around looking for Swedish Interior Design ideas. There are all interiors of houses and apartments in Sweden. I like the swedish style because they keep it simple but cool, cosy and stylish at the same time.

Isn’t it great the the visual impact a simple brick wall can bring? I want one…
