JUMPSUITS

The original skydivers’ jumpsuits were simple garments designed to insulate the body from the cold of high altitudes and minimize risk of covering important handles and grips. Today, however, the garment has found other use… now  a days you find jumpsuits everywhere, in summer like winter. I love jumpsuits! There are so many different shapes, styles, colours. They can look elegant, sporty and also very “comfy” and casual (onesie for eg). Have a look at some beautiful jumsuits I found surfin around….

IT’S OKTOBERFEST TIME

Oktoberfest is the world’s largest fair held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It is a 16-day festival running from late September to the first weekend in October with more than 6 million people from around the world attending the event every year. To the locals, it is not called Oktoberfest, but “die Wies’n”, after the colloquial name of the fairgrounds (Theresienwiese) themselves. The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since 1810. Other cities across the world also hold Oktoberfest celebrations, modeled after the original Munich event.

The “Dirndle” is the Dress that the women use to wear especially for this occasion. They are lovely, I always wanted one of them but they are so expensive and special that I never got one.

The dirndl consists of a bodice, blouse, full skirt and apron. While appearing to be simple and plain, a properly made modern dirndl may be quite expensive as it is tailored and sometimes cut from costly hand-printed or silk fabrics. In the South German dialects (Bairisch), Dirndl originally referred to a young woman or a girl, and Dirndlgewand to the dress. Nowadays, Dirndl may equally refer to either a young woman or to the dress. Have a look at some beautiful Dirndls.

You have to love yourself to be able to love someone else.

Everything starts within you, it’s all about you, your thoughts, your feelings your vibrations. If you feel negative about you, you automatically will attract negative things. If you don’t love yourself and you think you are not worthy any good you will lose everything and you will experience rejection. I am writing this because I have so many examples around me that show me that we become and feel what we think. Nobody says that it is easy to always think positive! Everyone has his lows, it’s normal, it’s ok but we shouldn’t waste too much time and energy with negativity.  Don’t surround yourself with negative people\friends they just take all the energy from you and they upload you with all their negative garbage. You don’t want nor need that. Nobody does!

Here some quotes I like a lot from Stephen Richards:

  • When you do what you fear most, then you can do anything
  • The only time you fail is when you fall down and stay down
  • The discontent and frustration that you feel is entirely your own creation
  • You willed yourself to where you are today, so will yourself out of it
  • For us to regard others as worthy, we have to begin by regarding ourselves as worthy.
  • A thought is a Cosmic Order waiting to happen.
  • Manifesting is a lot like making a cake. The things needed are supplied by you, the mixing is done by your mind and the baking is done in the oven of the universe.
  • Inaction creates nothing. Action creates success.
  • Poverty: a temporary financial low, curable by money.
  • You tap in to this oneness and become part of the universe as a whole.

BIRBAL’S WISDOM

One fine day, Akbar lost his ring. When Birbal arrived in the court, Akbar told him “I have lost my ring. My father had given it to me as a gift. Please help me find it.”  Birbal said ”do not worry your Majesty, I will find your ring right now.”

He said, ”Your Majesty the ring is here in this court itself, it is with one of the courtier.  The courtier who has a straw in his beard has your ring.”   The courtier who had the emperors ring was shocked and immediately moved his hand over his beard.  Birbal noticed this act of the courtier.  He immediately pointed towards the courtier and said, ”Please search this man.He has the emperors ring.”

Akbar could not understand how Birbal had Managed to find the ring.  Birbal then told Akbar that a guilty person is always scared.

Moral: A Guilty Conscience need No Accuser.

THE SECRET IS THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

  • whatever is going on in your mind is what you are attracting
  • we are like magnets – like attract like. You become and attract what you think
  • every thought has a frequency. Thoughts send out a magnetic energy
  • your thoughts cause your feelings
  • happy feelings will attract more happy circumstances
  • It’s not “wishful” thinking

Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.

The Bear and the Two Travelers

Image

Two men were traveling together, when a Bear suddenly met them on their  path.

One of them climbed up quickly into a tree and hid in the branches. The  other, feeling that he would be attacked, fell flat on the ground.

The Bear came up and felt him with his snout, and smelt him all over. He  held his breath, and pretended to be dead.

The Bear soon left him, for it is said bears will not touch a dead body.

When the bear was quite gone, the other Traveler came down out of the  tree.  With a clever grin, he inquired of his friend, “Just what was it that the Bear whispered in your ear?”

His companion replied, “He gave me this advice:  Never travel  with a friend who deserts you at the approach of danger.”

Moral: Misfortune tests the sincerity of friends.

REVOLVED TRIANGLE POSE

Image

There is Trikonasana the Triangle Pose without the twist and with a twist. In Yoga you can find twists within every category of pose: standing, seated, inverted, and reclining. They are good and cleansing poses, working deeply on the internal organs in a “squeeze-and-soak” action. As you squeeze a sponge to rid it of dirty water, the twists squeeze the abdominal organs, forcing out toxins and waste. Then when you release the twist, fresh blood rushes into those organs, bathing the cells with oxygen and nutrients. The benefits are:

  • Strengthens and stretches the legs
  • Stretches the hips and spine
  • Opens the chest to improve breathing
  • Relieves mild back pain
  • Stimulates the abdominal organs
  • Improves sense of balance

THE LION AND THE MOUSE

Image

Once when a Lion was asleep a little Mouse began running up and down upon him; this soon wakened the Lion, who placed his huge paw upon him, and opened his big jaws to swallow him. “Pardon, O King,” cried the little Mouse: “forgive me this time, I shall never forget it: who knows but what I may be able to do you a turn

some of these days?” The Lion was so tickled at the idea of the Mouse being able to help him, that he lifted up his paw and let him go. Some time after the Lion was caught in a trap, and the hunters who desired to carry him alive to the King, tied him to a tree while they went in search of a wagon to carry him on. Just then thelittle Mouse happened to pass by, and seeing the sad plight in which the Lion was, went up to him and soon gnawed away the ropes that bound the King of the Beasts. “Was I not right?” said the little Mouse.

THE DREAMY MILK-MAID

A Milk-maid had been tothe meadowto milk her cows. Now she was returning home with a pail of milk on her head.

She thought, “I will make cream and butter out of this milk. Then selling them, I will buy eggs. and when they hatch, I shall have a goodpoultry farm.”

She further thought, “I shall sell some of my fowls and buy a finedress. Seeing it on my body at the fair, all the boys will admire me.the pail of milk tumbled downBut I will turn them away just tossing my head at them.”

Lost in daydreams, she forgot about the pail on her head. She tossed her head with a jerk and the pail of milk came tumbling down. it was broken and allthe milkgot spilt.

“Dear O dear !” she cried, “I have lost my all.”

MORAL: Don’t count your chickens before they are hatched.

Mexican Interiors with Mexican Colours.

I think we are too careful and too spare with bright colours when we decorate our homes. Have a look at these mexican examples. The mexicans surely go for it and in my opinion it looks fantastic!

Dare to be colourful!
